This museum concentrates on the folk traditions of Arles and the surrounding area. Built around a courtyard which contains some remains of the Roman forum, it has tableaux of Arlesian life and exhibits of folk artifacts connected with Arles and the surrounding area, pictures - mainly of ladies in the distinctive local costume…
The Museon Arlaten is temporarily closed for renovation. It will reopen in 2013!
